The last of the great carnival-themed pinballs... HURRICANE!  This game was produced in 1991 by Williams, creator of the most desirable and popular modern pinball machines to ever exist on the planet!  This game follows in a long line of popular carnival-themed pinball games designed by the great Barry Oursler.  First there was Comet in 1984, then Cyclone in 1988, followed by Hurricane in 1991.  All of the games share the same theme and similar artwork, but they are all quite different from one another.  The previous games came before the advent of the Dot-Matrix score display and didn't have multi-ball.  Those two items alone opened up a new world of possibilities to take the series to the next level and it certainly shows in Hurricane!  All of the carnival themed games are constantly requested due to their fun and colorful artwork combined with their ability to hold the players interest with unique and interesting playfield layouts.  Everyone remembers the carnival music and the voice calls of the midway barkers enticing you to play.  This game has a lightning-fast playfield and very addictive layout that makes you feel like you're right back at the old amusement park or on the boardwalk, just like when you were a kid!

It's difficult to find really nice Hurricane games as most of them have badly faded cabinets and playfields in poor condition to say the least, but this Hurricane is quite the exception because it's BEAUTIFUL!  The playfield on this game is in excellent original condition with no touch-ups and the original factory Diamond-Plate finish still shines like glass.  The playfield artwork plastics and ramps are in great condition with only minor imperfections.  The ferris wheel assembly has been fully serviced and a new drive belt was installed.  The backglass translight  and spinning mystery wheel are in excellent original condition. The cabinet is fantastic with only minor blemishes which have been touched-up.  Brand new legs, playfield glass and coin door have been installed.  This game plays lightning fast just like it did in 1991!
