A drop-target classic from Bally... MATA HARI!  This game was produced in 1978 by Bally, who hands-down made the best and most well-known games of the late 70's and early 80's.  Games like Eight Ball Deluxe, Space Invaders, Silverball Mania and Mata Hari ruled the arcades, bowling alleys and corner stores!  Bally was known for creating great playing pinball machines with the best and most popular themes.  This game brings to life the adventures of Mata Hari, an exotic dancer and convicted spy from the World War I era with fabulous period artwork.  Pinball machines are presently enjoying a renaissance period with young and old alike experiencing new-found joy in these games of the past.  This game has genuine vintage Bally feel with a classic playfield layout that's a true BLAST to play!

You'll love the old-school chimebox sound effects of this early digital game that cannot be recreated by the sound systems in more modern games.  It's a throwback to a simpler time in life when you could find classic games like this at the boardwalk or in the local bowling alley.  The vintage retro sounds will drive you along as you try for HIGH SCORES, EXTRA BALLS and SPECIALS!  One of the best features on this playfield are the two banks of four drop targets, which everyone loves to see disappear as the ball crashes into them to add to the bonus ladder in the center of the playfield.  Go for the top kickout saucer and watch as your bonus multiplier goes from 1X to 2X, 3X and higher!  Complete the target banks and the playfield special will light for the next completion!  Make the "A" and "B" sequence and you'll get an ever-increasing amount of points, all the way up to the elusive EXTRA BALL!  This game has FOUR pop-bumpers, two of which can be lit for 1,000 points per hit!  The whole playfield is loaded with all of the great classic pinball elements like roll-overs, slingshots, pop-bumpers and more!  Adults and children alike go crazy for this game and you will NEVER tire of it!  Many enthusiasts will agree that this game is one of the most collectable digital Bally games of the 70's.  The popular theme goes great in any home gameroom!

A beautiful machine all around!  The playfield on this game is in excellent condition with minimal touch-ups and it's original factory clear-coat is intact and super glossy.  Due to their popularity, Mata Hari games typically have a LOT of playfield wear and this game is a true exception!  The plastics are in excellent original condition with no chipped pieces.  BRAND NEW post caps, pop-bumper caps and drop targets have been installed on the playfield!  This game has a genuine silk-screen painted backglass, not a plastic translight picture like the more modern games have.  This backglass is in fantastic original condition with no flaking or peeling paint.  The cabinet is in fabulous condition with minor blemishes which have been expertly touched up.  The legs have been refinished and brand new levelers have been installed along with a new playfield glass and lockdown gasket.  See below for the list of what has been done to this game.  Plays lightning fast just like it did in 1978!

    * A full diagnostic test and software configuration was performed
