A television horror classic... TALES FROM THE CRYPT!  This game was produced in 1993 by Data East, who now goes by the name Stern Pinball and is the only true mass-manufacturer of pinball machines left on the planet!  Data East is well known for tying great TV and movie themes to great playing pinball machines and this game is no exception with it's high-action and fast-playing layout.  TFTC is a true Data East classic in every sense of the word.  The fabulous artwork on the game, which was pulled right from the original TV episodes is present all over the machine.  Look for some of the shows most famous guest stars on the backglass.  I know I see Whoopie Goldberg, Dan Akroyd and Joe Pesci.  Who else do YOU see?!  This game is so chock full of different play modes, it's simply amazing.  This is one of the few pinball machines which I personally have NEVER reached the wizard mode on and I'm a GOOD player too!  This game has genuine Data East style play with ultra fast ball movement and LOADS of playfield action.  The game even has a SHAKER MOTOR that vibrates the whole game while you play certain modes!

You'll love all of the music, voices and sound effects that were pulled directly from the TV show soundtrack.  We have to start our description of this game with the star of the game... the CRYPT KEEPER!  He will talk to you and taunt you at every move, making you want to beat him more and more.  His hilarious commentary, along with the dark-humor of the artwork and DOT-MATRIX animations make you never want to stop playing!  Fire your ball into play using the distinctive antique door handle and try for the head-chopping skill shot!  Blast the massive tombstone on the playfield the correct number of times and watch it magically sink into the playfield, revealing a shot into the vertical upkicker to start the multiball frenzy!  Fire the ball into the center scoop and start one of the many modes like SKULL-CRACKIN', CHOPPING MALL or PSYCHO POPS!  How about starting the video mode where you try to choose the correct sequence of doors for big points.  Look behind the wrong door and... you're sure to be frightened!  Those features are just the beginning.  You have corkscrew and vert ramps, under-playfield passages, ball scoops, a captive ball, loads of EYEBALL targets, drop-targets, roll-overs, pop-bumpers, slingshots, loop shots, spinners and more!  To aid your shot selection, the playfield features THREE FLIPPERS.  You will NEVER tire of this game!  Most pinball enthusiasts will agree that this game is one of the best Data East games ever created and the popular theme goes great in any home gameroom!  The game also features a family-friendly software setting that tones down the "gooey" scenes on the display.

This is one beautiful Tales From The Crypt!  The playfield on this game is in outstanding original condition and the original factory clear-coat shines like glass.  The whole playfield has been torn down and detailed, the flippers have been serviced and brand new drop-targets were installed.  The backbox and playfield lighting has been upgraded with an L.E.D. package.  The backglass translight is in near pristine original condition and the often missing or broken topper sign is in excellent condition.  The cabinet is in fabulous condition with any blemishes touched up and it has not been drilled out in the front for a security bar.  The often broken, missing or damaged door handle ball launcher is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition.  See below for the full list of what has been done to this game.  It plays lightning fast just like it did in 1993!

    * BRAND NEW leg levelers (feet) installed
    * BRAND NEW coin door lock
    * Backbox lighting has been upgraded with an L.E.D. package
    * All playfield lamp inserts have been cleaned
    * Playfield was COMPLETELY stripped, detailed and polished
    * New lamps and fresh rubber installed
    * Playfield lighting has been upgraded with an L.E.D. package
    * BRAND NEW drop-targets and decals
    * Bumpers and slingshots serviced as needed
    * Flippers have been serviced as needed
    * BRAND NEW lower Data East logo flipper bats
    * BRAND NEW mirror finish balls have been installed
    * A full diagnostic test and software configuration was performed
    * Original owners manual and spare light bulbs are included
