1984 Bally

The timeless classic... X's & O's! This game was produced in 1984 by Bally, who hands-down made some of the best and most well-known digital pinball machines of the late 70's and early 80's. Games like Eight Ball Deluxe, Centaur, Paragon and X's & O's ruled the arcades! Bally was known for creating great playing pinball machines with the best and most popular themes. The backglass on this game with it's cool prehistoric artwork features cavemen playing one of the oldest games known to man... TIC-TAC-TOE! Everyone has played the simple version of this game with pencil and paper, but this machine takes the classic pasttime to a whole new level. This true classic Bally machine brings your youth back to life with the fun and excitement of a full size vintage arcade game. Pinball machines are presently enjoying a renaissance period with young and old alike experiencing new-found joy in these games of the past. This game has genuine Bally style play with a classic playfield layout that's a true blast to play!

You'll love the vintage electronic sounds of this game as you try to line up your X's and O's on the center grid. The premise of the game is quite simple, but accomplishing the goal is immensely challenging to say the least. You'll want to fill a line in the grid by hitting the nine different targets at center field which correspond to the spaces in the grid. BUT... the value of the targets can change from X's to O's at different times of play. Think you're about to complete a row of X's? Hit a rollover or switch at an inopportune moment and the targets change to the opposite character and you start ruining the pattern you've started! It can be maddening, but also extremely rewarding if you can get it right. Your ultimate goal is to fill the entire grid with the same character and you'll get HUGE POINTS! There are other great features on this field such as a row of DROP-TARGETS at the top with their own MINI-FLIPPER. Check out the crazy curved ball passages at the upper left of the field. There's also a captive KICK-OUT SAUCER at the right side outlane where you get big bonus points if you can nudge the ball in there before it drains. The whole playfield is loaded with all of the of the classic playfield elements such as a stationary targets, drop-targets, roll-overs, slingshots, pop-bumpers and more! Adults and children alike go crazy for this game! Pinball enthusiasts will agree that this game is a fantastic player and the popular theme and fabulous artwork goes great in any home gameroom!

It's tough to find these 80's classics in good condition nowadays as the games are getting to be well over 30 years old. This one, however is the exception! The playfield on this game is in beautiful condition with minimal wear and the factory clearcoat is intact and glossy! The plastics are in excellent condition with only one damaged piece. The pop-bumper caps are new as well as the rubber and post caps. This game has a genuine silk-screen painted backglass, not a reproduction and it is in truly fantastic condition. Old-school quality all around! The cabinet is excellent with minor blemishes and some touch-ups. The legs have been refinished and new levelers were installed.     * Remote battery holder installed on MPU board

    * Legs have been refinished
    * BRAND NEW leg levelers (feet) installed
    * Shooter has been rebuilt with new springs
    * Playfield was COMPLETELY stripped, detailed and waxed
    * New lamps and fresh white rubber are installed
    * Flippers have been serviced as needed
    * Bumpers and slingshots serviced as needed
    * BRAND NEW pop bumper caps installed
    * BRAND NEW white post nuts have been installed
    * BRAND NEW mirror finish ball installed
    * BRAND NEW instruction cards
    * A full diagnostic test and software configuration was performed
    * An owners manual and spare light bulbs are included
